Sourdough Steak

3-4 lb round steak
1 cup flour
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp red pepper
1 cup sourdough starter
3/4 cups oil

Using a meat-tenderizing mallet, pound steak to 1/2 in thick. Cut into serving pieces. Combine flour and seasonings. Dip pounded steak in sourdough starter, then into flour mixture. Fry in oil in large skillet.
