Apple Crisp

6 C peeled, sliced apples
1 T lemon juice
2 t cinnamon
6 T butter or margarine
3/4 C packed brown sugar
3/4 C quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 C flour
1 T cinnamon

Place apples tossed with 1 t cinnamon in an 8" pan, sprinkle with lemon juice. Melt better in small pan. Stir in remaining ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples and press down lightly. Set pan on top of 5-6 metal nuts in bottom of Dutch oven. Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Check apple doneness occasionally.
