Chili

2 lb. ground beef
2 teaspoons cumin
1 (15 oz) can red beans
1 quart tomato juice
pepper, oregano, sugar
1 med. onion chopped
1 (29 oz) can tomato puree
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1/4 cup chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder


Brown beef in skillet, drain, then add all the rest into a 6 quart pot, cover and simmer 1 to 1.5 hours stirring every 15 minutes. makes 16 (1 cup) servings.
