Bannock

1 cup flour
1/3 tablespoon (1 teaspoon) baking powder
dash salt
oil or margarine
water


At home: package the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large, tough plastic bag.

In the field: Put a little oil of margarine into the bag, and slowly add enough water to give the mixture the consistency of dough. You may have to mix it with your hands. Flatten it out into a cake, and fry it in a little oil, very slowly.
