Multi-purpose Marinade

3 parts soy sauce
1 part brown sugar
1 part liquid smoke

Mix together, let stand for 5 minutes. Add meat and let marinate for 3 hours or overnight in an airtight container. Drain, place on trays and dry until it cracks when bent. Do not overlap pieces of meat. Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks. To maintain the best flavor, refigerate. Use within 3 months.
